Sealing

For sealing, beads of 1K or 2K sealants are applied by robots or portal systems.

Depending on the application, the task of these beads is not only sealing but also joining. In a subsequent joining process, an adhesive bond is formed between the components to be sealed.

Different dosing systems are used depending on the type of sealing required. In the simplest case, pressure-time controlled systems for 1K sealants achieve good results. For applications requiring a more precisely controllable dosing process, we use systems based on piston, gear, or eccentric screw pumps as well as jet valves.

For FIPFG (formed-in-place-foam-gasket) processes, we offer dosing systems designed for processing 2K foams.
